Home Field – Germantown Elementary School, Field 5

Note:  Field 5 is closest to the library but DO NOT PARK IN THE LIBRARY PARKING LOT and NO ALCOHOL!!!

Directions from Baltimore:

Take 695 to 97South.  Follow 97 South till it ends and merges with Route 50 East.  Take the Rowe Blvd./Bestgate exit, exit 24.  Take the right exit, Rowe Blvd. towards downtown Annapolis.  At the first signal, take a right onto Farragut Road; the Navy Marin Corp Stadium will be on your left.  At the end, take a left onto Cedar Park Road.  Take the first right onto Glen Avenue. Once on Glen Avenue, take the second right, it's the immediate right after the bike/walking trail.  I believe it's Southwood.  The field will be past the trees on your right.

From 395 in Virginia take the Seminary Road East exit.  At the fifth light, turn right onto St. Stephens Road. The School is 1/4 mile down on the right.  The school address is 1000 St. Stephens Road, Alexandria, VA.  NOTE:  This is an Astroturf field, although if it is busy, games may be moved to grass.

 

COBURN’S   

FOR MARCH 30 GAME: Garrison Forest School, 300 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117

From 695, take exit 20 for MD-140 N toward Garrison.  Then, turn right at MD-140 W/Reisterstown Rd (~1 mile).  Turn right at Craddock Ln (0.5mi).  Turn left at Greenspring Valley Rd (0.1mi), then turn right on Garrison Forest Rd (0.6mi).  The fields will be closest to this entrance to the school.

From I-83, Take Northern Parkway EAST exit. Make a left at the intersection of Northern Parkway and Falls Road. Pass through the Kelly Ave intersection and at the next intersection you make a LEFT onto Smith Avenue. You should cross over the little stream and then make your immediate left. Going down the road you pass Northwest Ice Rink on the left, a post office on the right and then Meadow Brook Swim Club.  Keep going to the end of the road until you dead end at the field.  For Map Quest, use 5731 Cottonworth Ave. Baltimore, MD 21209.


GREENE TURTLE

From the East or West:
Take 1-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to the Charles Street exit. Drive south on Charles Street for approximately 4.7 miles.  Pass through a few major intersections, including Gittings Avenue and Northern Parkway. Friends School is the second light south of the Charles Street and Northern Parkway intersection. There is a large stone sign indicating Friends School.  To get to the field, you will pull into Friends school at the second entrance (just past Enfield Rd).  Continue on this road through campus and Deering field will be the first field you see.  Park in the lot on this road (visitor's lot) right before the roundabout.

From the North or South:

Take I-83 (Jones Falls Expressway) to the Northern Parkway East exit (exit 10). Drive east on Northern Parkway.

You will go through two stoplights (Falls Road and Roland Avenue). At the third light (Charles Street), turn right. Friends School is the second light south of the Charles Street and Northern Parkway intersection. There is a large stone sign indicating Friends School.  To get to the field, you will pull into Friends school at the second entrance (just past Enfield Rd). Continue on this road through campus - Deering field will be the first field you see.  Park in the lot on this road (visitor's lot) right before the roundabout.

Note:  Additional parking is available in the Lawndale Parking Lot, located off of Wyndhurst Avenue. If you are heading south on Charles Street, do not enter the Friends campus. Instead, make a right turn at the traffic light immediately past the School entrance (Wyndhurst Avenue). The parking lot is located at the bottom of the hill on the right hand side, near the shops at Wyndhurst Station. Follow pedestrian paths from the parking lot to the athletic fields.

83 South to Exit 31 (Middletown Rd.)
Veer Right off of the ramp onto Middletown Rd.
Continue down Middletown Rd. for approximately 2.5 miles
Turn Left on Rayville Rd. (before Wally's Store/BP Gas)
Continue down Rayville Rd. left for 3/4 mile.

Parking lot will be at the top of the hill on your left.

From the South

83 Noth to Exit 31 (Middletown Rd.)

Turn Left off of the ramp onto Middletown Rd.

Continue down Middletown Rd. for approximately 2.5 miles

Turn Left onto Rayville Rd. (before Wally's Store/BP Gas)

Continue down Rayville Rd. for 3/4 mile.

From Baltimore:
Take I-695 to Route 10 south. Follow Rt. 10 until it merges with Rt. 100 east. Stay in the two left lanes and continue on Rt. 100 east. The first exit after the merge is Catherine Avenue; take that exit. When you get to the top of the ramp make a right and come down Catherine Avenue about Ύ of a mile to the traffic light. The park is directly across the street. Make a right at the light onto B&A Boulevard and an immediate left into the parking lot.

From Washington DC:
Take I-295 to Rt. 100 east. When Rt. 100 merges with Rt. 10 get into the two left lanes and continue on Rt. 100. The first exit after the merge will be Catherine Avenue, take that exit. From the Bay Bridge: 
Follow Rt. 50 west to Rt. 2 north. Follow Rt. 2 north to Pasadena Road. Make a right onto Pasadena Road and come down about one mile and the park will be on your left.  Go to the traffic light and make a left onto B&A Boulevard and an immediate left into the parking lot.

*NOTE:  PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE MAIN LOT.  WE DO NOT HAVE KEYS TO LET YOU OUT! 

ALSO – THIS PARK HAS A NO ALCOHOL POLICY SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYERS AND FANS DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON SITE AS WE COULD LOSE OUR PERMIT.

From the South (I-95):  I-95 North to I-695 North toward Towson (left lane exit).  Follow I-695 to the top of the Beltway, passing I-70 and I-795.  Take Charles Street (Exit-25) and stay left off the exit to the stoplight.  Follow directions below.

From the South (I-83):  I-83 North to I-695 East (towards Towson).  Get over in the left lanes to get on I-695. Take the Charles Street Exit and stay left off the exit to the stoplight.  Follow directions below.

From the North (I-83):  I-83 South to I-695 E (bear left at the split of 695 East & 695 West).  Take the Charles Street Exit (1st exit) and stay left off the exit to the stoplight. Follow directions below.

-At the stoplight, turn left onto Charles Street.

-At the roundabout take the first right onto Bellona Ave. Take your immediate left onto Clark Avenue (this is a one way street).

-At the stop sign take a left onto Lincoln Avenue.

-Go one block and turn right onto Front Avenue.

-At the stop sign turn left onto Seminary Avenue.  Immediately pass over RR tracks & a Royal Farm Store to your left. Pass School Lane on your left.

-Turn left before hill, onto Seminary Avenue West. (There is a ‘No Outlet’ sign on the corner.)  Then immediately turn left onto Burton Avenue (looks like you are turning into a neighborhood).  This road will end at the parking lot for the lower turf field.

 

MOTHER’S

Patterson Park is bordered by 2300 - 3100 blocks of Baltimore Street on the North; 2300-3100 blocks of Eastern Avenue on the south; 00-400 blocks of South Linwood Avenue on the east; and the 00-400 blocks of South Patterson Park Avenue on the west.  Parking is permitted on all streets surrounding the park. Vehicular traffic is prohibited within the park.

From the North

Take 83 south until it ends and becomes President Street. Continue on Presidents Street until you reach Pratt Street. Turn left. Take Pratt Street until it ends at South Patterson Park Avenue. Patterson Park is directly ahead.

Take 95 south towards Baltimore City. Take Exit 59, Eastern Avenue. At the end of the ramp, bear to the right going towards Highlandtown. Continue west on Eastern Avenue for 2.5 miles. Patterson Park will be on the right hand side.

From the South

From 95 North, take 295 towards Baltimore. Pass Raven's Stadium and Camden Yards. Turn right onto Pratt Street. Stay on Pratt Street until it ends at Patterson Park Avenue. The park will be directly in front of you.

Take Route 24N for approximately 5 miles and make a right onto Route 1 North / Bel Air Road.  Go through town (When you cross over Main Street, the road name changes from Route 1 North to Fulford Avenue to Route 22/Churchville Road) and at the 2nd traffic light after Main (bottom of the hill), John Carroll will be on the right.

From North

95 South to Exit 80 (Route 543 – Churchville). Take Route 543N for approximately 6 miles and make a left on Rt. 22 / Churchville Road.  At the 3rd traffic light, John Carroll will be on the left.
