From 83 (going South):  Take 83S all the way to where it becomes S. President St.  Continue on S. President St and make a left on Fleet St.  Follow Fleet until it forks – make a right at Boston St.  Follow Boston St past Safeway and DuBurns arena.  The field is on the left at the intersection of Boston and S. Clinton St.  Pay attention to parking signs, but street parking is ok on Sundays.  Alternatively, you can park across Boston on S. Clinton St.

From Annapolis:  Take 97 N to I-895N (toll road).  Exit I-895 at exit 10 Holabird Ave toward Dundalk.  The next turns are quick: Right at Holabird, right at S. Newkirk St, left onto Boston for ¾ mile, and you’ll see the field on the right.  If you pass Safeway you’ve gone too far, turn around and see above.  Pay attention to parking signs, but street parking is ok on Sundays.  Alternatively, you can park across Boston on S. Clinton St.

From DC:  I-95 N toward NY (toll road).  Take exit 56 for Keith Ave for just under ½ mile.  Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Clinton St, and merge onto Keith Ave.  Slight right on Clinton St. 

From BelAir:  I-95 S to exit 56 for Keith Ave.  Turn right at Keith Ave then right at S. Clinton St. The field is at the corner of S. Clinton St and Boston St, at the light on the left-hand corner.  Pay attention to parking signs, but street parking is ok on Sundays.  Alternatively, you can park across Boston on S. Clinton St.

From Baltimore:
Take 695 to I-795 N (exit 19) toward Owings Mills.  Follow for 9.3 miles until it ends/merges with MD-140 W toward Westminster.  Follow MD-140 W for 9.8 miles through Westminster.  Then, turn left at Malcom Dr/MD-97 S (there's a Popeye's on the right and a PetSmart on the left at the intersection).  Go through 1st light and make a left at the second light onto Old Westminster Pike.  About 100 yards on your right is a parking lot entrance for Carroll Indoor Sports Center AND Players - follow parking lot down hill and around to the left to get to Players.

Take Route 695 W toward Glen Burnie and exit onto Route 10 South toward Severna Park. Follow Route 10 S until it ends at a traffic light. Turn left onto Route 2 South. Follow Route 2 S to Baltimore & Annapolis Boulevard (4th traffic light). Veer right onto Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd. and continue to the stop sign at Riggs Road. Turn right onto Riggs Rd and proceed one block to the stop sign at Evergreen Rd. The main entrance for Severn School is directly in front of you. Proceed across Evergreen onto Maple Ave.

Directions from Annapolis and South:

Take Route 50 East.  Take the exit 27 after the Severn River Bridge towards Route 2 North, Ritchie Highway.  Follow for about 8 miles.  Take a left onto Cypress Creek Road.  At end, turn right onto Baltimore – Annapolis Boulevard.  Take the immediate left onto Evergreen Road. Severn will be on your left.  Take the third left onto Maple.  The girls turf field is on the left.  Please park on the side of the school.  

Directions from Eastern Shore :

Take Route 50 West, over the Bay Bridge.  Take exit 27B, towards Route 2 North, Ritchie Highway.  Follow for about 8 miles.  Take a left onto Cypress Creek Road.  At end, turn right onto Baltimore – Annapolis Boulevard.  Take the immediate left onto Evergreen Road.  Severn will be on your left.  Take the third left onto Maple.  The girls turf field is on the left.  Please park on the side of the school.

Take the Telegraph Rd/VA-241 S/VA-611 S exit for 5 miles.  Fields are inside Coast Guard station.
From Annapolis: 

Merge onto US-50 W via the ramp on the LEFT toward I-97/WASHINGTON/BALTIMORE.  19.1 mi

Merge onto I-495 S/I-95 S/CAPITAL BELTWAY via EXIT 7A toward RICHMOND.  15.4 mi

Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on I-495 LOCAL S/CAPITAL BELTWAY (Passing through DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, then crossing into VIRGINIA).  3.9 mi

Take EXIT 177B-A toward US-1/ALEXANDRIA.  0.1 mi

Take the US-1 S exit, EXIT 177A, on the LEFT toward FORT BELVOIR.  0.4 mi

Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-1 S/RICHMOND HWY.  1.7 mi

Turn RIGHT onto S KINGS HWY.  0.0 mi

95 North to Exit 80.  Take ramp to the left to head south on 543.  After just under 2 miles go left on to 136/Calvary Road (dunkin donuts on corner).  Make first Right onto Cedar Lane.  Follow back to Right into Park entrance.  www.cedarlanesports.org. 

For May 2 ONLY:  Game at 1pm.  Our fields, along with the "social" area with a food vendor and tents, are marked below.

 

May 2 FYI:  Players are encouraged to bring water, all-weather gear, a SOLO cup, beverages, chairs, cleats, and tennies for turf or grass... and $$ for the vendor.  Food vendor will be available with pit beef and pit turkey sandwiches and other foods.  Please bring chips or fruit if you'd like.

We play at 1 pm, All-Star presentations will take place in the "social area" at 2pm, and will hang around after for a little socializing!!

From 395 in Virginia take the Seminary Road East exit.  At the fifth light, turn right onto St. Stephens Road. The School is 1/4 mile down on the right.  The school address is 1000 St. Stephens Road, Alexandria, VA.  NOTE:  This is an Astroturf field, although if it is busy, games may be moved to grass.

MT. WASHINGTON TAVERN

Motorists approaching Goucher College from any direction are advised to take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), leaving it at exit 27A-Towson (Dulaney Valley Road south). The college entrance is on the left, one-half block from exit 27A. Once you enter the campus, make the first left and follow the loop until you see the Sports and Recreation Center on your left.  The Parking lot is on the left as well, and the Beldon Decker Turf is just beyond the parking lot.

From the South (I-95):  I-95 North to I-695 North toward Towson (left lane exit).  Follow I-695 to the top of the Beltway, passing I-70 and I-795.  Take Charles Street (Exit-25) and stay left off the exit to the stoplight.  Follow directions below.

From the South (I-83):  I-83 North to I-695 East (towards Towson).  Get over in the left lanes to get on I-695. Take the Charles Street Exit and stay left off the exit to the stoplight.  Follow directions below.

From the North (I-83):  I-83 South to I-695 E (bear left at the split of 695 East & 695 West).  Take the Charles Street Exit (1^st exit) and stay left off the exit to the stoplight. Follow directions below.

-At the roundabout take the first right onto Bellona Ave. Take your immediate left onto Clark Avenue (this is a one way street).

-At the stop sign take a left onto Lincoln Avenue.

-Go one block and turn right onto Front Avenue.

-At the stop sign turn left onto Seminary Avenue.  Immediately pass over RR tracks & a Royal Farm Store to your left. Pass School Lane on your left.

-Turn left before hill, onto Seminary Avenue West. (There is a ‘No Outlet’ sign on the corner.)  Then immediately turn left onto Burton Avenue (looks like you are turning into a neighborhood).  This road will end at the parking lot for the lower turf field.

From Washington:

From 495:  Take exit 54A, Braddock Road West (Route 620).  Follow Braddock Road West for approximately six miles.*  Pass the first entrance to the university and turn right at the stop light at Roanoke River Road.  Bear right at the fork in the road.  Take your first left onto Mason Pond Drive; parking is available in the Parking Deck, the last building on the right.  An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help you navigate the campus.

We play on 2 grass fields across the street from FDR Memorial.
- Parking is very limited!  You may no longer park on West Basin Rd.  Everyone is strongly recommended to car pool or Metro.  If you must drive, please allow at least 1 hour to find a spot and park in a legal spot (no bus areas or handicap spots).

- Please bring lunch/snacks, and LOTS OF WATER with you!!  There are no food vendors except the National Park Service.  Alcohol is prohibited.

Metro: Greenbelt, take Greenline to L'enfant plaza at 11:06 or 11:18; transfer to Orange line toward Vienna.  Get off metro at Smithsonian Metro Station.  Round trip fare: $4.90. 

Walk about 30 minutes down National Mall to the fields (toward FDR memorial).  Also, limited shuttle service from metro.
